ROBOT TEACHER

A robot is a device that carries out complex options and operates autonomously, as opposed to a machine that requires a human operator to control it.
* 1921 - The term "robot" was first used in a play called "R.U.R." or "Rossum's Universal Robots" by the Czech writer Karel Capek.
* 1941 - Science fiction writer Isaac Asimov first used the word "robotics" to describe the technology of robots and predicted the rise of a powerful robot industry.
* 1942 - Asimov wrote "Runaround", a story about robots which contained the "Three Laws of Robotics":
"Runaround" is a science fiction short story by Isaac Asimov, featuring his recurring characters Powell and Donovan

"Three Laws of Robotics":
o A robot may not injure a human, or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm.
o A robot must obey the orders it by human beings except where such orders would conflict with the First Law.
o A robot must protect its own existence as long as such protection does not conflict with the First or Second Law.

George Devol created the first programmable robot in 1954. (born February 20, 1912) is the inventor of the patent which led to the development of the first industrial robot, called Unimate. As an inventor he has over 40 patents and is president of Devol Research. Devol has resided in Fort Lauderdale, Florida and Wilton, Connecticut operating a robot consulting business.[1]

The Japanese robot Saya has already been used as a receptionist and secretary.
Now she is to become the world’s first robot teacher.  The Professor Hiroshi Kobayashi has been developing Saya for over 15 years.
A primary school in Tokyo will be the first recipients of Saya as a teacher.
Saya is multilingual and will do roll call as well as set tasks from text books.

MY OWN POINT OF VIEW:

The robot teacher  will help the human teacher, but they are not replaced with human teachers because there are still things to be done by robot teachers being generated by human teachers.
